The root meaning of the word chiropractic is “done by hand”.  Chiropractor, Dr. Nick Baiata takes this meaning to heart by using manual “hands-on” techniques to treat his patients.

Dr. Baiata offers traditional chiropractic adjustments to the spine and extremities.  In additional to traditional manual chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Baiata also offers low force options for those who are not suited for or dislike the “cracking” style of adjustments.

Going beyond the spine, the chiropractor also works on supportive tissue (e.g. muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia) by employing soft-tissue techniques, such as trigger point therapy and myofascial release technique, and targeted stretching.

In addition to the adjustment and muscle work, Dr. Baiata gives specific exercises and instruction to enhance the chiropractic adjustment and improve health.

Before the doctor makes any adjustments he performs a thorough spinal evaluation in order to pin point the areas of the spine that require adjustments.  The adjustments are tailored to his patients’ needs and preferences.

The chiropractor uses a diversified approach to adjusting the spine.  Dr. Baiata uses a traditional style of chiropractic and low force options for those who dislike or are not suited for or dislike the “cracking” style of adjustments.

The following are a list of techniques that Dr. Baiata employs in his diversified approach:
